As part of our recruitment process, we may use automated assessment tools (such as the Conchie talent assessment) to evaluate certain aspects of a candidate’s application. However, all decisions regarding whether a candidate progresses, are made by a recruiter following a meaningful review of the candidate’s application. Recruiters consider the assessment results alongside other relevant information and exercise independent judgment in each individual case. Therefore, the assessment outcome is not applied automatically and does not, on its own, determine the final decision.

A copy of the relevant mechanism can be obtained for your review on request by using the contact details below.

9. How long will we retain your personal data?
If you are successful: we will retain your personal data only for as long as we need it for ConMed's legitimate interest in accordance with applicable law, for the purposes of the recruitment process and, once this process is finished, for an appropriate period so as to be able to deal with any legal claims linked to the application process. If you are not successful: we will retain your personal data for as long as legally allowed.

If you provide your explicit consent, we may retain your personal data for a longer period of up to 2 years following the closure of your application, in order to consider you for future vacancies that may be of interest to you. • Right to rectification. You have the right to ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you. Please note that you are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide to us is accurate, complete and kept up to date. • Right to withdraw consent or object to the processing. Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Where the processing is based on our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. In either case, the withdrawal or objection will not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out before.
  • Right to restriction of processing. You have the right to ask us to limit the use of your personal data in certain situations, for example while we verify its accuracy or assess an objection you have raised.
  • Right not to be subject to automated decision-making. You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, where that decision produces legal effects or similarly significant effects for you.
  • Right to data portability. Enables you to request us to transmit your personal data in a structured, commonly used format, to a third party without hindrance, or to give you a copy of it so that you can transmit it to a third party, where technically feasible.
  • Right to lodge a complaint. If you have unresolved concerns, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority in the country that you reside in or the country where the alleged infringement took place.
These rights may be limited, for example if fulfilling your request would reveal personal data about another person, or if you ask us to delete information which we are required by law or have compelling legitimate interests to keep.

Where we collect personal data to administer a contract with you or to comply with our legal obligations, this is mandatory and we will not be able to manage the application relationship without this information.
